Prey System
An EXP Prey rewards kills of its selected monster. Quality matters: for eligible hunting, quality 1 gives +16.25%, increasing by 3.75 percentage points per quality to +50% at quality 10.
Current EXP values
| Quality | Eligible EXP bonus |
|---|---|
| 1 | 16.25% |
| 2 | 20.0% |
| 3 | 23.75% |
| 4 | 27.5% |
| 5 | 31.25% |
| 6 | 35.0% |
| 7 | 38.75% |
| 8 | 42.5% |
| 9 | 46.25% |
| 10 | 50.0% |
With the other EXP factors unchanged, quality 10 gives 1.5 times the EXP of the same monster without this Prey bonus. It does not double EXP.
CaveBot and manual play
The enhanced Prey rate is the same with CaveBot ON or OFF when the normal hunting eligibility checks are satisfied. Hunter’s Mark is a separate system. If the enhanced-hunting eligibility is unavailable, the original Prey bonus is 13–40% according to quality; this does not disable Prey entirely.
This review covers the EXP bonus. Other Prey benefits and unrelated Hunting Tasks should not be inferred from this table.
